Blender Lesson 27 – SnapTo and Deform

Yesterday I released a new tutorial on the Snap To tool that allows you to accurately place objects againts each other. It is to be used in conjunction with Grab, Extrusion, Scale or Rotation modes. This is a feature that was improved upon in the Blender 2.47 release.

I also did a segment of the tutorial on the new Simple Deform Modifier, added in the Blender 2.48 release. This new modifier has been added to provide simple deforms. It works on Meshes and Curve objects, and provides twist, bend, taper and stretch.
